Itinerary
DAY ONE
Pick up at Hotel at 8.30am and we head south west to
Leyda
Valley. There we will visit Chilean owned
Viña
Matetic, a
22,230 acre estate where we will taste the very highly rated EQ. The second winery we will visit is
Casa Marin, a small beautiful winery producing top class wines. The wine maker and owner is Maria Luz Marin and she produces excellent Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. Ms Marin is an accomplished artist whose works are on display in the winery. From here we will proceed to the picturesque coastal town of
San Antonio. We lunch on freshly-caught seafood or meat at
Logroño, a restaurant overlooking the harbour and port and the best place to eat in town.
After lunch we will continue southwards to the
Colchagua
Valley calling in to
Montes Marchigüe estate, a vineyard and lake which is normally never open to the public. From here we travel on to
Santa Cruz arriving at approximately 6pm. If time permits we can visit the famous
Santa Cruz museum with an extensive collection of South American history. Check-in to
Hotel Viña

DAY TWO
Pick up between 8.30am. The first visit is to
Viña Montes in Apalta where we will try three Alpha’s and their Purple Angel. From here we drive 5 mins to
Clos de Apalta* winery, a brand new gravity fed winery in the truest sense of the word. Here we try the 95 point Clos de Apalta wine. After this we travel a short distance to
Viu Manent where after a carriage ride through the vineyard we will taste several wines both from tanks and bottles. Here we also enjoy a superb lunch before driving back to
Santiago where we should arrive by 6.30pm. Check-in to
Hotel Orly, a charming boutique hotel in the Providencia district. If you wish we can drive up to Cerro Cristobál from where there is a panoramic view of
Santiago (smog permitting).

DAY THREE
Our guide and driver pick you up at 9.15am and transfer you to
Santiago airport. End of tour.
